Services set for victim in fatal head-on collision
Services have been set for one of the two 18-year-old women who died in a car crash last week.
Leshay Kahalawai Mina Gusman will be remembered Sunday at Bernice Pauahi Chapel at Kamehameha School. Visitation is from 1 to 3:30 p.m., with service to follow. Her family requests casual attire and no flowers.
Gusman and fellow 2006 Kamehameha School graduate Whitney Fergerstrom died Thursday night in a two-vehicle collision on Kapaa Quarry Road in Kailua. Five others were injured.
Gusman, a student at the Ulupono Academy, a Paul Mitchell Partner School of Cosmetology in Honolulu, was born in Lihue, Kauai. A service on Kauai is pending.
She is survived by father Wesley Gusman, mother Berney Puha Valle, brothers Avery Gusman and Tyson Valle, sister Cassie Valle, grandparents Paul and Irene Gusman, and grandmother Isabel Puha.
