Last week: Phil Mickelson won the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am by five shots for his 30th PGA Tour victory. Mickelson closed with a 6-under 66 to match the tournament record of 20-under 268 set by Mark O'Meara in 1997.

Course: TPC of Tampa Bay (6,628 yards, par 71).

Last year: Jerry Pate won a PGA Tour-sanctioned event for the first time in 24 years, birdieing the final hole for a 5-under 65 and a one-stroke victory over Hale Irwin, Mark James and Morris Hatalsky. Loren Roberts tied for fifth in an unsuccessful bid to become the first player in tour history to win four straight tournaments.
Last week: James won the Allianz Championship in his first tournament of the year, closing with a 4-under 68 for a two-stroke victory over Jay Haas. James has three career victories on the 50-and-over tour.
