Fishermen tended their poles yesterday at Point Panic in Kakaako. The area was contaminated due to an overflowing manhole on Halekauwila Street that spilled approximately 960 gallons of raw sewage into a nearby storm drain. The city Environmental Services Department was able to remove about 200 gallons from the storm drain, but warning signs were posted at Kewalo Basin, Kewalo Basin Park, Point Panic and Kakaako Waterfront Park.
