C.S. Wo, Neiman to display Harari
C.S. Wo & Sons will welcome the Year of the Boar with a retrospective exhibition of garments by Harari, a 30-year-old silk print design house based in Los Angeles.
The exhibition runs Sunday through Feb. 28, and the occasion also marks C.S. Wo's unveiling of the first Harari/Neiman Marcus exclusive print, featuring a butterfly motif.
Harari designs -- featuring the work of Barbara Keller Harari, Britten Landstrom for silhouette design and Serena Lin for print graphics -- are available in a little more than 100 boutiques and specialty stores nationwide, including NM, which has photographed Harari's collection beautifully over the years.
Harari's day-to-evening silhouettes are characterized by effortless sophistication, conveying a lifestyle informed by travel, cultural exploration and the languid sensuality of '40s film stars.
The Spring 2007 Harari collection at Neiman Marcus will feature resort, office chic, beach weddings and evening looks with a touch of the East.
Harari representative Kelsey Farris will be at NM from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday to launch the collection in the Sport Shop on Level Two. A trunk show of Harari designs, including the new, exclusive butterfly-print collection, will be on view during store hours from Saturday through March 31.
