Libraries play host to sci-fi novelist
Science-fiction writer Margaret Weis will visit several public libraries beginning Saturday to talk about dragons, wizards, elves, dwarves and other characters out of her novels and her role-playing game, "Dragonlance."
Weis is the co-creator (with Tracy Hickman) of the best-selling "Dragonlance," "Darksword," "Death Gate Cycle" and "Dragonvarld" series. The Weis/Hickman fantasy "Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight" is being turned into an animated film for release this fall with Keifer Sutherland among the voice talents.
