Hard Rock Cafe has free hotel shuttles
Who says there's no such thing as a free ride? Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu has partnered with Hilo Hattie to provide a free trolley from 10 major hotels to shuttle patrons to and from the Honolulu cafe.
Shuttles to the cafe will run every 20 minutes between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and every 45 minutes between 6 and 10 p.m., using three trolleys and one motor coach.
The service will rotate from the following hotel locations: Ilikai Waikiki hotel, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Kai Aloha Hotel, Sheraton Moana Surfrider, Duke Kahanamoku Statue, ResortQuest Waikiki Beach, Hilton Prince Kuhio, Ohana Waikiki West, Wyland Waikiki and Ohana Maile Sky Court.
If you already have a car and enjoy driving, Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu is at 1837 Kapiolani Blvd. Call 955-7383.
Romance awaits at Kailua-Kona resort
Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort's 2007 Romance Package offers couples a chance to escape to the Kailua-Kona coast of Hawaii's Big Island, with three nights in an ocean view room, champagne upon arrival and keepsake flutes, daily breakfast for two, $100 credit at the on-site Kalona Spa, and a daily rental car.
The three-night package is priced at $770 per room based on double occupancy and is valid through Dec. 21, subject to change.

Waikiki Hilton has room, spa discounts
The Hilton Hawaiian Village is offering kamaaina rates through February, starting at $165 per night plus tax. In addition, kamaaina are entitled to a 20 percent discount at Mandara Spa.
For room reservations, call 949-4321 and ask for rate code P3. This special is based on availability as some blackout dates might apply. Proof of Hawaii residency required.
