Hernandez, Filifili team up to lead Governors over Tigers
Christian Hernandez scored 15 points and Elijah Filifili added 10 to lead Farrington over McKinley 60-55 in a battle between two of the top teams in the OIA White.
With the visiting Governors up 53-52 in the final minutes, Filifili hit a big bucket to give Farrington a three-point lead with less than a minute to play. After a miss on the ensuing posession, the Tigers were forced to foul to stay in the game. Hernandez, who scored 12 of his 15 points in second half, made three clutch free throws down the stretch to preserve the win for the Governors.
