Lelie chooses free agency
Former Radford and Hawaii receiver Ashley Lelie has voided his contract with the Atlanta Falcons. By using a stipulation in his contract regarding playing time, Lelie will become a free agent in March. The 2002 first-round pick of the Denver Broncos caught 28 passes for 430 yards and one touchdown this season. He was traded to Atlanta by Denver before the season after he held out. In five NFL seasons, Lelie has caught 196 passes for 3,437 yards and 13 TDs.
