Building experts available at Blaisdell
The Building Industry Association of Hawaii presents the "Seek Professional Help ... Before It's Too Late" Home Building & Remodeling Show at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall from Jan. 25 through 28.
More than 130 of Hawaii's top contractors, suppliers and building industry experts will be accessible under one roof.
Also lined up are a kitchen and bath design case study, seminars on remodeling and the fifth annual Steelman Competition. Other seminars offered include Hawaii BuiltGreen!, Remodel It Right, Making Your House a Home for a Lifetime, Hurricane Retrofits and more.
Event schedule: 5 to 9 p.m. Jan. 25 and 26; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 27; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 28.
Cost: $4 adult; children under 12 free with paid adult; $6 four-day pass. Seniors age 55 and older with ID $1 on Jan. 28.
Parking: $5 self-parking.
Gain good fortune with feng shui class
Peter Lung of the World of Feng Shui will conduct two sessions on "Getting Rich and Staying Safe in the Fire Boar Year" on Jan. 27.
The 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m. classes will be in the Frear Cafeteria at the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific.
