UH diver solid at Canadian Championships
University of Hawaii diver Emma Friesen finished sixth on the women's 1-meter springboard with a total score of 247.80 yesterday, at the Women's Canadian National Diving Championships in Quebec.
Blythe Hartley, a former USC diver, finished in first place with 298.60 points.
Friesen also placed eighth in the 3-meter springboard with a score of 798.75.
The Rainbow Diving Invitational, the last home event of the swimming and diving season, is Jan. 26 and 27 at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.
