Services are Thursday for HPU's Fujie
Services for Lloyd Fujie, a senior vice president of Hawaii Pacific University who died last month, are set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Harris United Methodist Church.
Fujie was a longtime managing partner for Deloitte & Touche before joining HPU last January. He died Dec. 28 during an operation for pancreatic cancer. Fujie served on the boards of numerous local nonprofit groups.
Visitation at the church at 20 S. Vineyard Blvd. begins at 4 p.m. Alternate parking will be available at Hosoi and Borthwick mortuaries.
Because of the expected high attendance, HPU shuttles will run back and forth from Royal Elementary School on Queen Emma Street and St. Andrew's Cathedral on South Beretania Street between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Aloha attire and no flowers.
