Kaimuki holds off Kailua
Beau Albrechtson scored a team-high 16 points and Keone Reyes added 13 as No. 4 Kaimuki overcame a late charge by the Surfriders to hold off Kailua 53-52 last night at Kaimuki.
Kailua's Ryan Naluai scored 17 of his game-high 21 points in the second half as the Surfriders outscored the Bulldogs 32-23 after intermission. Naluai nailed his only 3-pointer of the game to cut the lead to one with two seconds left, but Kaimuki managed to run out the clock to keep Kailua winless for the regular season.
Daniel Colon added 12 points for Kaimuki while Zachary Akamine had 10 for the Surfriders.
