Police look for suspects in burglary at Prada
CrimeStoppers and Honolulu police are asking for the public's help in locating suspects in connection with the Prada burglary.
Police said the burglary occurred at the company's Kakaako warehouse between Dec. 23 and Dec. 26.
Three suspects -- two males and a female -- were observed in the proximity of the warehouse in an white early-model Ford van.
The van was seen parked in front of the warehouse with the suspects loitering in the area. Sgt. Kim Buffett of CrimeStoppers said witnesses observed the possible suspects going in and out of the vehicle for a couple of hours.
Police had said the warehouse's security system was tampered with. An estimated $1 million in items that included clothes, shoes and wallets were stolen.
Prada Hawaii could not be reached for comment on the burglary.
One of the two male suspects was described as a man in his 50s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds. A description of the other male suspect was not available.
Police described the female suspect as a woman in her 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with a thin build, black hair and a dark complexion.
