Wednesdays through Saturdays, Bear's Aloha Grill, located in New Hampton, Mo., about 90 miles north of Kansas City, features fresh seafood caught off the shores of Hawaii. Kara Kitazaki of Kaneohe attends graduate school at Hitotsubashi University ICS on an exchange from UCLA. When her parents, Jimmy and Sharon Kitazaki, visited, she took them to sumo champion Konishiki's restaurant on the night it reopened after a renovation. The eatery in Tokyo Dome City, called Unbalance, gave the family a chance to try a gigantic bowl of chanko nabe, the traditional meal of sumo wrestlers.
