Seawolves topple Seasiders in hoops
Carl Arts scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Alaska-Anchorage to a 79-68 victory over Brigham Young-Hawaii in Division II college basketball last night at Anchorage.
Joe Davis also had 20 points for the Seawolves (8-2).
Lucas Alves had 17 points and Jermaine Odjegba grabbed seven rebounds for the Seasiders (8-3). Odjegba also hit all six of his free throws and finished with eight points.
Wilson, Azinger to speak at conference
PGA Tour golfer Dean Wilson of Kaneohe and 2008 Ryder Cup captain Paul Azinger will be the featured speakers at the 2007 Aloha Section PGA Golf Conference at the Hawaii Prince Hotel in Waikiki on Jan. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Lajola to team up with Jensen
ESPN tennis analyst Luke Jensen will team up with Aiea's Dennis Lajola to face reigning Kailua Men's Night Doubles champions Wei Yu Su and Dillon Porter in an exhibition match Jan. 3 at the University of Hawaii Tennis Complex at 7 p.m.
The exhibition will follow an afternoon of clinics for all ages. The Little Superstars Clinic for ages 4-8 will be at 3 p.m., while the Junior Clinic will run from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $25 for the clinics and $10 to watch the exhibition match only.
