Aloha Airlines shows UH team spirit
In a show of support for the home team, Aloha Airlines has painted "GO HAWAII WARRIORS" on one of its Boeing 737 jets in interisland service.
Aircraft 835 made its first flight with the new logo Thursday, and the company is urging Hawaii residents to back the University of Hawaii Warriors football team in their game against Arizona State today, beginning at 3 p.m. at Aloha Stadium.
Tickets are still available.
"The Aloha Airlines ohana is so excited about the Warriors' appearance in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl, they wanted to show their support in a big way," said Thom Nulty, Aloha's senior vice president of marketing and sales.
