Hawaii Bowl gains parking
Aloha Stadium and Sheraton Hawaii Bowl officials will open three alternate parking sites to alleviate traffic and parking congestion for Sunday's football game between the University of Hawaii and Arizona State University.
Leeward Community College, Kamehameha Drive-In and Radford High School will open for parking at 11 a.m. Parking is free at LCC, $5 per vehicle at Kam Drive-In and $3 at Radford High School. Officials will assign security at all three parking sites for fan safety and the security of their vehicles.
A shuttle service will be available to take people to the stadium from LCC and Kam Drive-In and back. The shuttle will cost $2 per person from LCC and be free from Kam Drive-In.
No shuttle service will be available for fans parking at Radford High School.
Officials will be handing out free coupons for two 32-ounce soft drinks at a stadium concession to the first 500 drivers to park in each of the parking sites at LCC and Kam Drive-In.
The Aloha Stadium parking lots will open at 10 a.m.
