Chaminade dominates Presentation College
Zack Whiting had his fourth triple-double of the season with 19 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds to lead Chaminade in a rout of Presentation (S.D.) 92-50 yesterday at McCabe Gym.
The Silverswords (4-4) scored 51 points in the first half to take an 18-point lead into the break, and held the Saints (3-2) to 17 second-half points to win going away.
Chaminade's Mike Green led all scorers with 21 points 7-for-8 shooting, while Stewart Kussler shot 8-for-12 for 17 points.
» Elyse Mengarelli scored 17 points to lead Central Washington over Chaminade 68-47 in a nonconference women's game yesterday at McCabe Gym.
Simrin Cummins led the Silverswords (1-4) with 16 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the field. Katherine Carlisle added 13 points in the loss, and Samatha Saito had seven points, four assists and five steals. The Wildcats (8-1) dominated Chaminade on the boards with a 46-20 advantage.
Jensen leads tennis clinic at UH complex
Grand Slam doubles champion Luke Jensen is conducting the High Performance Training Camp at the University of Hawaii Tennis Complex, Jan. 2-3, for juniors and adults. The camp focuses on technique, tactics, and footwork.
Jensen will also play with and against Hawaii's nationally ranked youth player Dennis Lajola in exhibitions.
