FROSTY TREAT IN THE TROPICSDENNIS ODA / DODA@STARBULLETIN.COM
Five tons of snow were piled on the Calvary Church of the Pacific lawn for children to play in on Saturday. Making a snowman were, clockwise from lower left, Jeanei Imamura; Tobey Yamashita; Lorene Okihara and her 20-month-old son, Joshua; Jenny Yamashita, Tobey's mom; and Tate Yamashita. They were prepared as they brought cherries for the buttons and eyes, a carrot for the nose and a cap for the snowman's head. The "Winter Wonderland" event also featured pictures with Santa, games, Santa's Craft Workshop and food.
