Vulcans get first win in women's basketball

Sheila Azevedo scored 17 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to help the UH-Hilo women's basketball team to a 63-51 win over Hawaii Pacific at the Lahaina Civic Center.

The Vulcans (1-7) got their first win of the season while the Sea Warriors dropped to 0-7.

Ashley Jenkins led HPU with 17 points.
