Kelly Hu hosts luau party for a cause
Hawaii-born actress Kelly Hu and Olympic gold medal winner Carl Lewis will host Reef Check Hawaii's Run for the Reefs Luau taking place at 8 p.m. Monday at the Sheraton Waikiki.
Benefitting the local chapter of Reef Check, the star-studed event will feature entertainment by Makana as well as cocktails, dinner, a silent auction and more.

Red-carpet arrivals start at 7 p.m., and will feature a who's who of young Hollywood. Among the celebs scheduled to attend are Mario Lopez ("Dancing with the Stars"), Daniel Dae Kim ("Lost"), Victoria Pratt (ABC's "Daybreak"), Lance Bass (N Sync), Kelly Slater (world champion surfer), Jason Scott Lee ("Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story"), Maggie Q ("Mission: Impossible 3") Reichen Lehmkuhl ("The Amazing Race"), Chris Harrison ("The Bachelor") and Eric Woods ("24").

Hu, also in town to run her first Honolulu Marathon on Sunday, hosted another awareness event for Reef Check at the grand opening party for Miss Sixty/Energie last Saturday, which featured an afternoon of acoustic performances by Columbia recording artist Josh Radin, Universal's Schuyler Fisk, Rachel Yamagata from RCA and music producer Chris Holmes, as well as music by DJ Steve Aoki and informal modeling of the clothing line.
