Friday night lights
High school football in Hawaii is a game, to be sure, but it's more than that. It's a party, a weekly gathering of old friends and new. A festival of confetti and color, of saimin and sound. An event where kings and queens are crowned. We pump our fists, we cheer. We win, we lose, we shed a tear. Dedicated. Loyal. Some might say obsessed. Hawaii fans get it. Friday nights are the best.
