Gilliom to perform at book signing

If you're at Kahala Mall on Saturday and hear sweet sounds, follow your ears to Center Court, where Amy Hanaiali'i Gilliom will be performing while Dr. Carolan signs copies of his new book, "Goodnight Hawaiian Moon."

Gilliom and Carolan teamed up on this children's book, which comes with a read-along CD featuring Gilliom singing "Brahms' Lullaby," with Ken Emerson on slack-key guitar. The book is illustrated by Carolan's wife, Joanna, and is aimed for youngsters up to 7 years old. The concert begins at 2 p.m., giving you time to shop in the morning and grab a bite to eat, first.
