COURTESY PIGTAILS & CREWCUTS
In addition to providing kids' and adults' haircuts, Pigtails & Crewcuts salon hosts many a childrens' party, turning little ones into princesses, princes and pirates.
Salon woos wee ones
If you're looking for a kid-friendly setting for junior's first haircut, Pigtails & Crewcuts has opened its doors at the new Moanalua Shopping Center, 930 Valkenburgh St.
The salon features a playroom with blocks, wooden train and other toys, and a Nintendo Game Cube for older children. Above every haircutting station is a TV screen featuring family-friendly movies. Custom-made pint-sized barber chairs are shaped like airplanes, cars and fire engines, complete with bells.
Two full-sized barber chairs accommodate grown-ups just along for the ride.
