Top-seeded Word of Life moved into tonight's Division II semifinals of the New City Nissan/HHSAA Girls Volleyball State Championships with a 30-28, 25-14 victory over Molokai last night at Punahou's Hemmeter Fieldhouse.
The Interscholastic League of Honolulu champion Firebrands (15-5) will play Kauai Interscholastic Federation winner Waimea at 7:30 tonight.
The Menehunes (10-0) got past Big Island champion St. Joseph 25-15, 25-11 at Hemmeter Fieldhouse last night.
The Cardinals (14-4) meet the Farmers (10-6) in a consolation match today, with the winner advancing to the fifth-place match tomorrow.

The Lancers (15-6) defeated Maui Interscholastic League champion Seabury Hall 25-15, 25-23 in another quarterfinal at Radford.
The Mustangs (10-5) and the Spartans (11-2) tangle today at Radford in a consolation match, with the winner advancing to the fifth-place match tomorrow.
Waianae and Hawaii Prep won consolation-bracket matches yesterday to advance to tomorrow's consolation championship.
The Seariders (9-6) beat Kaimuki 21-25, 25-10, 25-15 at Punahou.
The Bulldogs dropped to 11-5.
Ka Makani (12-7) topped Hilo 25-19, 14-25, 27-25 at Radford.
The Vikings fell to 13-5.
