A surfer went off the lip of a wave at Pipeline near Ehukai Beach Park on the North Shore yesterday. The National Weather Service forecasts surf along north-facing shores to be 6 to 8 feet today and along south-facing shores, 3 to 5 feet. The late-season south swell will continue to decline through tomorrow, with a new south swell arriving Tuesday and lasting into Wednesday. The current northwest swell will maintain at moderate heights into tomorrow. CLICK FOR LARGE

Hannah Hiraki, 5, enjoyed her shave ice while her sister, Maya, 8, slurped up noodles yesterday at Makiki Christian Church's Festival. The festival featured food and fun for the children, including games, health displays and arts and crafts, as well as "Trash to Treasures" for the adults.
