Seasiders stay put at No. 9 in volleyball poll
Brigham Young-Hawaii remained at No. 9 in the CSTV/AVCA volleyball coaches poll yesterday.
The Seasiders (16-0, 12-0 Pacific West) are one of three undefeated teams in Division II after defeating Chaminade once and Hawaii-Hilo twice last week.
Rainbow Wahine in third place in New Mexico
Hawaii is in third place after shooting a 13-over 301 in yesterday's first round of the Price's Give 'Em Five Invite golf tournament in Las Cruces, N.M.
Lisa Kajihara and Corie Hou led the way for UH, both shooting 1-over 73s to finish the first round in a tie for fifth place.
San Jose State leads the team standings at 8-over 296, followed by Boise State at 11-over and Hawaii and Missouri tied at 13-over.

The Seasiders shot a team total of 309 on the par-72 course to beat the Sea Warriors by 10 strokes. It marked the second win in a row by BYUH over HPU.
The Seasiders' Spencer Adkins earned medalist honors with an even-par 72.
» Tadd Fujikawa held off 54 other golfers to go wire to wire to win the Turtle Bay Amateur last weekend.
Fujikawa finished with a two-day total of 10-under 134, breaking the record of 9-under formerly held by Matt Kodama.
Travis Toyama finished in second place, three shots back at 7-under 137.
UH coed sailors take third in California
The University of Hawaii coed sailors finished in third place at the PCCSC Sloop Championships last weekend at Lake Isabella, Calif.
USC captured the championship with 11 points, edging host UC Irvine by one point. Hawaii finished with 22 points.
