Pearl Jam adds December concert

The show in Blaisdell arena comes one week before appearing with U2

Pearl Jam, already performing with U2 at Aloha Stadium on Dec. 9, will play another Honolulu concert, on Dec. 2 at Blaisdell Arena. Kings of Leon will be the opening act. Tickets go on sale Saturday at 9 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets and the Blaisdell Center box office. Charge by phone at 877-750-4400. Tickets will be $53, plus $2 for the Vitalogy Foundation, partly to support the Hui Malama I Ke Kai Foundation after-school program in the name of Boom and Pinky Gaspar. Boom plays keyboards for Pearl Jam and is from Waimanalo.
