Parade of Homes continues this weekend

It's your last chance to catch the Parade of Homes free tour 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday, as BIA-Hawaii celebrates its 50th year with 25 entrants showcasing the latest in technology and design in residential construction.

The winner of this year's Grand Champion Award and Best in Show award was presented to Cypress Point Residence 3 Monterey, located on the Arnold Palmer Hawaii Prince Golf Course in Ewa Beach. The home also took top honors in the Single Family Detached category, Division III.

Comfort for grieving families

Families mourning a miscarriage or the loss of an infant are invited to an annual candle-lighting service sponsored by the Hawaii Perinatal Bereavement Network at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Tripler Army Medical Center Chapel. Volunteers from Tripler, Queen's and Kaiser hospitals are sponsoring the event, to include a special selection of music, guest speakers and refreshments. Call Cindy Nachtigall, 433-6606.
