Sunday's Youth Day to offer free fun
The 12th Annual Children and Youth Day will be held Sunday to kick off this year's Children and Youth Month.
McDonald's and Hawaii Children's Trust Fund are organizing the event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grounds of the state Capitol, Iolani Palace, Washington Place, the Hawaii State Art Museum and Honolulu Hale.
More than 100 free activities for the entire family will be offered, including a Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament (bring your cards), bouncers for the keiki, a bungee trampoline, a horse carousel and train rides.
Tours of the Governor's Ceremony Room, Iolani Palace Gallery, Washington Place and the Hawaii State Art Museum will be available.
Entertainment will include Sassy and G Magazine, Hyper Squad, Kapena, Lost Amigos Ballet Folklorico, Jordan Segundo, Tanilynn, the American Heart Association Jump Rope Team and Local Uprise.
