Pearl VIP pre-opening party

The long-awaited opening of Beau Mohr's new nightclub, Pearl, took place Tuesday night. The club is adjacent to Macy's on the Ho'okipa Terrace on the top level of Ala Moana Center. A capacity crowd of several hundred local celebrities, entertainment industry executives, high-profile night-lifers and a few members of the local media enjoyed a three-hour preview party that included a fashion show and excellent service by the bartenders, with waiters walking through the crowd offering pupu trays.

Among those on the scene that night were Kutmaster Spaz, Kamakoa Page, Briana Spagnuolo, Jordan Segundo, "Uncle Tom" Moffatt, Rick Rock, Alan Yamamoto, Justin Yoshino and Flash Hansen.

Pearl officially opens to the public, with full food service, Tuesday after several days of private fund-raising parties for various community groups. Club-goers who don't want to wait until then can check it out the place tomorrow at 9 p.m. Minimum age is 21.
