Chef's Table celebrates the spirit of Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest came early to the Chef's Table in Hawaii Kai Towne Center. The celebration continues through Oct. 3, with imported beers from Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic.
Chef Andreas Knapp's Bavarian meals for the celebration include schweins haxen (ham hock), weinerschnitzel, jaegerschnitzel, goulash, sauerbraten; side dishes of sauerkraut, red cabbage and warm potato salad; and the traditional sausages platter, for sharing.
Also part of the annual celebration is a beer stein competition, with $100 worth of prizes. The steins were collected through mid-September, with the winners on display through Friday.
Prices are $16 to $22 for complete meals, which include soup and salad with entree.
Call 394-2433.
