Seasiders sweep Chaminade in volleyball
Brigham Young-Hawaii beat Chaminade 30-22, 30-22, 30-22 in Division II volleyball Saturday night in Laie.
Outside hitter Tuli Peters led the Seasiders (6-0, 2-0 PacWest Conference) with a match-high 24 kills.
Trina Kauliakamoa led the Silverswords (6-3, 1-1) with 15 kills.
Hawaii Pacific captures Hawaii Challenge Cup
Hawaii Pacific beat Brigham Young-Hawaii 2-0 to win the Hawaii Challenge Cup soccer tournament championship Saturday.
Akikhide Adachi scored both goals for the Sea Warriors (2-1). The Seasiders fell to 1-2.
Sea Warriors, Vulcans win cross country meet
The HPU men and the Hawaii-Hilo women captured the UH-Hilo Invitational cross-country meet Saturday. The individual winners were HPU's Todd Iacovelli and UH-Hilo's Amanda Whitford.
