Outrigger spa opens with special deals
Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach on Oahu is offering a new spa package to introduce the Waikiki Plantation Spa, where guests can indulge in a variety of island treatments against a backdrop of lofty ocean views.
Located on the penthouse level of the beachfront hotel via an express elevator, the newly opened spa encompasses six treatment rooms and expansive sun decks with panoramic vistas.
Treatments available include massages, facials, body wraps, body polishes, pedicures, manicures and beauty services.
A package including three nights' accommodations, a $200 spa credit and a spa amenity basket is priced at $1,194 for an ocean-view room and $1,338 for oceanfront.
Prices are based upon double occupancy and are subject to availability, applicable taxes and change without notice. The package is valid through Dec. 21.

Mauna Lani offers kamaaina discounts
Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows is offering two kamaaina specials through the end of the month, starting with reduced room rates of $199 per night and free ocean-view upgrades.
Those interested in the Kamaaina Golf Package will pay $339 per night, which includes ocean-view accommodations, unlimited golf for two, free use of rental clubs and a 15 percent discount at Mauna Lani Spa (minimum two-night stay).
These rates are per room per night based on single/double occupancy and space availability and do not include tax. The offer cannot be combined or used with other promotions and is subject to change without notice. Some restrictions apply. Valid Hawaii ID required upon check-in.
Complimentary activities at the resort include:
» Fish Feeding Tour: Follow the fishpond manager on his rounds, feeding the colorful koi, baby honu and sharks and hearing about Hawaiian reef fish and Mauna Lani's saltwater ponds. Schedules are available through the resort concierge.
