The Colgate Country Showdown

Jesse Felder, center, celebrated with his keyboard player, Jonathan Shuskey, and emcee Dita Holifield after he won the 25th Annual Colgate Country Showdown at the Hale Koa Hotel on Friday. Felder, originally from Texas, topped nine other Hawaii finalists with a powerful performance that demonstrated his charisma, vocal talent and his understanding of the rich traditions of country music. Felder will represent Hawaii at the regional finals in Los Angeles; the winner there gets a shot at the grand prize of a recording contract and $100,000 cash. CLICK FOR LARGE
