Hermen Tesoro Jr. greeted Isabella Cuadros, center, and her sister, Alexandria Cuadros, after Honolulu Theatre for Youth's afternoon performance of "Snow White" on Saturday. Playwright Hester Kamin's idea of having Tesoro play all seven dwarves was hit-and-miss, but he is excellent as the hunter who becomes Snow White's love interest in this comic makeover of the classic story. Casey Groves, left, earned a standing ovation for his performance in "Damien" at St. Augustine by the Sea Catholic Church on Sunday, and Nifa Rhodes was one of many who stayed to meet him. Groves touches the heart and soul in this revival of playwright Aldyth Morris' tribute to Father Damien. His next performance is at UH-Manoa tonight. Call 988-6222. CLICK FOR LARGE
