A second prolonged rain delay forced officials to postpone the championship match of the Blue Moon Kailua Racquet Club Men's Night Doubles yesterday. The match will be played today at 2 p.m.

The fifth-seeded team of Jan Tribler and Mikael Maatta held serve against third-seeded Wei-Yu Su and Minh Le to tie the first set at 1-1 before rain halted play. Both teams showcase local college tennis products, with former HPU stars Tribler and Maatta on one end of the net and Su and Le from BYU-Hawaii on the other.

In the third-place match, Ryan Ideta and Malino Oda defeated Jesse Paer and Bradley Lum-Tucker 8-5 in a pro-set match. Ideta remained tied with Kendall Char for the most all-time tournament titles with six, while Oda, a former Hawaii high school state singles champion from Maui, finished third for the second consecutive year.
