Warming up for Bublé

A pre-concert backstage party added to the excitement for 200 people who attended Michael Bublé's sold-out concert at the Blaisdell Arena last Friday. Robin Mann, Michi Robbs, Alfredo Romero, Teresa Bright and Phase VII co-founder Eric Kutzen were among those who enjoyed heavy pupus by Centerplate and a martini bar before the show.

Next came Bublé's 95-minute concert, one of the year's best. Bublé performed almost all the songs from his first two albums, left the stage in midshow to mingle with fans and even offered a tribute to Johnny Cash. His big-band arrangements of mainstream rock hits were imaginative highlights in a great show.
