» "Paper Cuts" (6-minute drama directed by Roy Kimura and writer-producer David Sato): An office can drive a normal person completely insane. See one man's descent into cubicle madness. (No office supplies were injured in this film.)
» "The Cleaner" (8-minute action-comedy directed by Martin Troy): Two hitmen arrive to whack a mob boss, but get more than they bargained for. (Adult language and violence.)

"The Plight of the Coqui" (2-minute documentary written and directed by Joe Kostylo): A creative examination of the troublesome coqui frog, which threatens Hawaii's ecosystem.
» "Domitri's Big, Fat Russian Movie" (12-minute comedy directed by Mark Brians): An aspiring filmmaker tries to make a sci-fi masterpiece ... unless he drives away his cast and crew.
» "Silent Years" (13-minute drama produced and directed by James Sereno, and written by Lois-Ann Yamanaka): Winner of the Best Hawaii Filmmaker award at the 2004 Hawaii International Film Festival, it's about a woman who must confront her previously repressed memories of teenage abuse.
» "Harrison: Falling Down" (5-minute music video produced and directed by Chris Potts): Before they split to Seattle, one of Honolulu's better indie bands did a video for one of their stronger songs.

"Sweet 'N Sour Brides" (3-minute comedy written, produced and directed by Peter Tang): Another gold award winner from this year's student fest, it's about a Chinese mother who confuses her son's choice of a prom date with marriage.
» "Na Pua O Maunalua" (5-minute documentary produced and directed by Amanda Suiso): The film is about a group of Kaiser High School students and their immersion experiences with Hokule'a master navigator Nainoa Thompson.
» "The Sand Island Drive-In Anthem" (21-minute drama directed by Ryan Kawamoto and written by Cedric Yamanaka): Winner of the Audience Choice award at last year's HIFF, it stars Mark Malalis, Augie Tulba, BullDog and Stu Hirayama as four young men who learn some valuable life lessons while working long hours at a Kalihi drive-in. Stephanie Sanchez and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa round out the cast. (Adult language and violence.)
