SUMMER BUMMER
FL MORRIS / FMORRIS@STARBULLETIN.COM
A large south swell broke along Oahu's south shore yesterday but Kona winds made conditions choppy. Disorganized, mushy, crumbling waves disappointed surfers yesterday at Kewalo's surf break at the entrance to Kewalo Basin. According to the National Weather Service, surf along south-facing shores will be declining slowly to 5 to 7 feet this afternoon. Another south swell is expected to boost surf back up near the advisory level Friday.
