HTY's ready for holiday tales

It's never too early to start thinking about Christmas, or writing about Christmas, for that matter.

Honolulu Theatre for Youth is accepting pieces for its annual December production, "Christmas Talk Story 2006." Deadline is Aug. 14.

HTY is looking for monologues or skits involving no more than three characters. Stories should focus on Christmas or other winter holidays set in Hawaii. HTY will pay $100 for each story selected.
