"Barnyard": A free-wheeling cow named Otis and his misfit farm animal friends live the high life -- singing, dancing and partying -- when humans aren't looking. But when Otis is suddenly placed in a position of responsibility around the barnyard, he must find the courage and confidence to become a leader. The animated movie features the voices of Kevin James, Courtney Cox Arquette, Danny Glover, Sam Elliott and Wanda Sykes. (PG)
"The Descent": One year after a tragic accident, six girlfriends meet in a remote part of the Appalachians for their annual caving trip, where they meet unspeakable horrors at the hands of a mysterious race. (R)
"The Night Listener": Adapted from Armistead Maupin's 2000 novel, this psychological thriller follows a troubled radio-show host who develops an intense relationship with a young listener who supposedly has terminal AIDS. But then a question arises regarding the boy's identity. Robin Williams, Toni Collette, Sandra Oh and Rory Culkin star. (R)
"Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby": A son-of-the-South NASCAR driver must face his own demons and fight to retain his place as racing's top driver when he is challenged by the arrival of a flamboyant French Formula 1 star. The film marks the return of the "Anchorman" duo of Will Ferrell and director Adam McKay. John C. Reilly, Sacha Baron Cohen, Michael Clarke Duncan and Amy Adams co-star. (PG-13)
