"The Night Listener": Adapted from Armistead Maupin's 2000 novel, this psychological thriller follows a troubled radio-show host who develops an intense relationship with a young listener who supposedly has terminal AIDS. "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby": A son-of-the-South NASCAR driver must face his own demons and fight to retain his place as racing's top driver when he is challenged by the arrival of a flamboyant French Formula 1 star. The film marks the return of the "Anchorman" duo of Will Ferrell and director Adam McKay. John C. Reilly, Sacha Baron Cohen, Michael Clarke Duncan and Amy Adams co-star. (PG-13)
