Relive Van Halen's glory days with David Lee Roth this weekend, when San Francisco cover band Hot for Teacher drops in at Pipeline Cafe.
Formed in 1999, Hot for Teacher came together to showcase the Roth era of the band, with vocalist Randy Monroe leading the charge. He'll be joined by guitarist Terry Lauderdale, bassist Jesse Scott and drummer Eddie Studabaker. Local metalheads Buddhist Priest (below) will open.

House fans will make the trek to the Leeward side this weekend, when the annual "Love Festival" returns to Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park.
DJs George Acosta, Craze and Roc Raida headline this year's lineup, with local veteran DJs g-Spot, IKON, K-Smooth and Sovern-T representing the 808 state. An afterparty is also scheduled the same night at Skybox, starting at 3 a.m.
