Sheraton Waikiki offers a cool way to party
Looking for a way to cool off this afternoon? If you came to Waikiki to party, you might want to check out Bacardi's Summer Pool Party at Sheraton Waikiki's side pool from noon to 8 p.m. today.
The one-time, free event for 21 and older, will feature DJs Byron the Fur, EpicOne, gDOG, Jedi, KSM, ShawnG and SubZero spinning house, hip-hop, mash-ups, electro reggae, dub, '80s and rock tunes.
Other happenings include a San Lorenzo Brazilian bikini fashion show, Afro-Latin Funk Dance Co. performance, barbecue and full bars (cash only), volleyball and more.
Wear your bikini or board shorts and bring your own toys. The Sheraton is at 2255 Kalakaua Ave.
Island Air puts frequent fliers on 'Cloud 9'
Island Air has introduced is customer rewards program "Cloud 9." The program rewards passengers who complete nine round trips or 18 one-way trips in the islands with a free round-trip ticket.
To become a member, customers simply enroll online at islandair.com, print their own rewards card and begin collecting points for each flight. Here are some program highlights:
» Cloud 9 members can manage their program online from the convenience of their own computer. They'll be able to check their Cloud 9 travel balance, redeem a free flight, or update travel points earned from their last flight at islandair.com.
» A Cloud 9 airfare reward ticket can be used by anyone the member designates, including family and friends.
