Quick, catch them while you can -- the guys from Go Jimmy Go are back in town, and haven't wasted any time setting up gigs.
After playing BayFest last weekend, they come back to town for a 21-and-over show at Anna Bannanas. Expect GJG to play a new dancehall remix of "Don't Stop Everything," the studio version of which features Jah-Son of the legendary reggae band the Toasters.
Sunday
"Al Waterson and You" Karaoke Contest, 6 p.m. at Don Ho's Island Grill. Call 528-0807.
Following a short break, longtime karaoke contest host Al Waterson returns to Aloha Tower Marketplace to find the next generation of local crooners.
Last weekend was designated for the keiki, with teens taking to the stage this Sunday. Adults and seniors get their respective chances over the next two weeks.

Wednesday
"The Honolulu Zoo Wildest Show in Town," 6 p.m. at the Honolulu Zoo. Tickets: $2.
The Honolulu Zoo's weekly summer concert series hits the halfway point next week.
Rolando Sanchez and Salsa Hawaii will play on Wednesday, followed by Manoa DNA on July 19. The series ends Aug. 16 with a performance by the Surfaris.
Gates at the zoo open at 4:35 p.m. each week, and picnic dinners are welcome. The first 30 people to sign up will also get to take a free guided tour of the zoo.
