CELEBRATING WITH FRANK: Frank DeLima greeted Mary Lorenzo, far left, and her granddaughters Krystlyn Lorenzo, Savannah Sabido and Sheena Sabido as they stood in the buffet line for his Father's Day luncheon show at Dot's in Wahiawa on Sunday. DeLima entertained the crowd by performing in costume as several of his most popular comic characters. Audience participation and plugs for his "Headquarters T-shirt" and "Silva Anniversary" CD were popular parts of the show as well. DeLima hosts his annual "Pocho Shoot-Out," a fundraiser for his student enrichment program, at the Olomana Golf Links Oct. 2. Call 261-5327.

Bütigroove partners Moka, left, and BJ welcomed Hart to the show. Tat fans take note: Hart plans to open a store in Waikiki later this year.

TIME TO PARTY: Fashion designers Ivy Higa and Lianne Tanaka toasted the overall success of the Osake fashion show as the event was winding down around midnight. Several lines of modern women's fashions were represented at the event, including bütigroove, Bamboo Sky and F.I.R.N.

CLICK" A HIT: Maleko of Star 107.9 was one of the lucky Adam Sandler fans who got a seat for a preview screening of Sandler's new film, "Click," at Dole Cannery on Wednesday. Maleko said afterward that he had been "expecting a typical Adam Sandler slapstick comedy ... but it ends up with a good message. It's a good movie to see. Don't miss it!"
