GETTING A REAL-WORLD VIEW

Ten teachers from around the state got to tour the Moana Pacific construction site yesterday to get a taste of a construction worker's daily grind. They were shown the drywall installation process as used in a real-world construction situation. Here, Julie Ann Beck, Transition Center coordinator/career counselor at Pahoa High and Intermediate School, took the opportunity to get a photo from the sky above Makiki.
