Two-year-old Mason Inamine, above, gave an affectionate look to his father, Malcolm, while enjoying yesterday's annual Father's Day Breakfast at Kaiser High School put on by the Hawaii Kai Lions Club. President Ken Nishibun said proceeds go to things such as vision testing for all preschool and elementary schools from Hawaii Kai to the Kahala Mall area.

A surfer cut back Saturday on a late-afternoon wave at Kewalo's surf break at the entrance to Kewalo Basin. The current south swell peaked Saturday, never reaching the forecast high-surf advisory status. The waves are forecast to continue to fade this week.
