A dance at McCoy Pavilion draws salsa devotees

Betsy Jones' feet were fit to be tied during IsabelleSalsa Pampillo's salsa workshop at McCoy Pavilion on Saturday. The workshop was part of the Salsathon held over the weekend, which raised money for the Hispanic Center of Hawaii.

A couple warmed up the dance floor for the Salsathon at McCoy Pavilion at Ala Moana Beach Park yesterday and Saturday. The dance competition, a fundraiser for the Hispanic Center of Hawaii, featured live music, crafts, food and salsa workshops.

Darellen Rosada, 7, was the only person sleeping at the Salsathon. "She had a long day at the beach yesterday," said her grandmother Ellen Rosada.
