Enjoy live entertainment under the stars at Big City Diner Kailua, where a rotating roster of musicians perform every Friday.
This week, Walt Keale presents a laid-back evening of traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music. Soup Box Symphony plays next weekend, followed by Kamakani on June 23 and Hart Song on June 30.
Saturday
"Kulcha Klash," 8 p.m. at Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park. Tickets: $20.
Honolulu Streetwear presents the first annual "Kulcha Klash" music festival, with headliners Ky-Mani Marley, Mr. Vegas and DJs JFX and Kimball Collins.
Besides the diverse music mix, the festival will also host a "Flowrider Summer Series Competition," with the winner getting flown to compete in a national competition in San Diego, Calif. later this year.
Sunday
"Memories," 7 p.m. at Pipeline Cafe. Tickets: $15. Call 589-1999.
Take a walk down memory lane on Sunday, as legendary local band Kalapana makes its debut performance at Pipeline Cafe.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for the all-ages show, with tables and chairs set up throughout the nightclub for patrons.
Joining Kalapana on stage will be special guests Jon Osorio, Stephen Brown and Randy Lorenzo. Call 479-6004 to arrange for VIP seating.
